Meet Michael Masini

I FEEL LIKE AND ARTIST PAINTING EVERY TIME I PUT A TAPE DOWN.  I INFUSE MY LIFE WITH THAT OF THE CHARACTER AND ELEVATE THE WORDS TO TELL A STORY UNDERNEATH. 

I have over 150 TV/film and commercial credits. I was struggling to book off tape in 2020/21 and had a family to support after the pandemic. The fact is more people were competing for the jobs I was taping for so I sent my best tapes to my 7 favorite TV directors I know well and they turned them upside down. I then formed this system to bring a powerful, fun exciting performance to the self-tape in 30 minutes or less.

I don't audition- "I SHOOT MY COVERAGE"  I have so much shooting my tapes now! I give myself permission to shoot the job! Last year alone I booked 5 Recurring/guest stars, currently recurring on Apple TV High Desert with Patricia Arquette Matt Dillon and upcoming “The Big Cigar” 7 pins for studio projects and 12 callback/avail checks and get traction now on almost every tape I submit.

I LOVE this way of working and never knew it was an option before. Nobody told me how to tape or what was considered a great tape or What Directors and writers and showrunners really liked.  My Director friends in a way saved my life because  my old way of taping was getting limited results in the "New Hollwood" Post pandemic.  No longer could you have "Good Enough" tapes!! Actors from all over the world are lighting the lamp and moving decision makers through Guest Star performances.  You need to elevate the words.  Get a little messy and in the words of Jeff Byrd -"Paint baby Paint"
